Daunsinnane

Daunsinnane Small Hydropower Project

ECLE was the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor for    the electromechanical component for this 3.0 MW, mini hydro project located in the lush hill country of Sri Lanka,  commissioned in 2006. ECLE  sourced two Francis Hydro Turbine units and an electromechanical package from one of Europe’s leading manufacturers. We also took on the installation, testing and commissioning of the entire electromechanical component of the project.

A plant commissioned in 2011 adds 6.5 MW to the grid in Inhasha Uganda.

EECL implemented the EPC for this  1.1 MW mini hydro in Sri Lanka

Utilising the waters of river Walawe, the Mini Hydro generates 1.8 MW for which ECEL was implementer of the EPC contract.
