Ishasha

lshasha Small Hydropower
Project

This mini hydro for which ECLE was the EPC contractor, was commissioned in Uganda  in 2011, and adds 6.5 MW of power to the Ishasha grid. ECLE’s work encompassed the supply, installation, and commissioning of two Francis Turbine units and a total electro-mechanical package sourced from one of Europe’s leading brands.

Ventured into Uganda for the first time with a 6.5 MW plant with EPC implemented and commissioned in 2011.

A Water to Wire initiative by ECLE in one of the remotest villages in Uganda; also operated and maintained by ECLE since 2019.

EECL implemented the EPC for this  1.1 MW mini hydro in Sri Lanka

Utilising the waters of river Walawe, the Mini Hydro generates 1.8 MW for which ECEL was implementer of the EPC contract.
