Maskeli Oya Small
Hydropower Project

Located in the lush hill country of  Sri Lanka,  this 2.0 MW mini hydro project connected to the grid was commissioned in 2016. ECLE sourced equipment from one of Europe’s leading brands, and also installed and commissioned  two Francis Hydro Turbine units and carried out the  electromechanical work in entirety.

A plant commissioned in 2011 adds 6.5 MW to the grid in Inhasha Uganda.

Ventured into Uganda for the first time with a 6.5 MW plant with EPC implemented and commissioned in 2011.

ECLE implanted the EPC for this 1.0 MW power plant.

EECL implemented the EPC for this  1.1 MW mini hydro in Sri Lanka

Utilising the waters of river Walawe, the Mini Hydro generates 1.8 MW for which ECEL was implementer of the EPC contract.

Another Water to Wire mini hydro designed, constructed as well as operated and maintained by  ECLE in Uganda.
